Warmly introducing myself to you!
The best way for you to get to know me and have an idea of the type of person you will be working with if you choose me is to get my story from the beginning to the end. Scroll down this page to learn about who I am today, the parts that make and create my personality, the people who are closest to me, and much more! My aim is for you to not only to buy into my work, but more importantly, me as a person. I hope this page helps encourages that so explore across the various chapters to find out more about what makes me who I am.
Starting at the beginning!
To get the full story, we realy do have to start at the begining as a kid! I truely believe that my childhood has directly influenced my career and it’s something that when I look back, I cherish it. I have extremely fond memories of growing up, it was the time where my charecter was truely built. The freedom and imagination that we have when we are young is extremely precious to me and I think that might be why now I have this Peter Pan mentality of not wanting to grow up (in a good way!). I always make sure to reminisce these parts of my life.
Jumping forward to today!
It would be too easy for me to get blinded by nostalgia and forget that as much as those memories are special, they are in the past, and it’s important to live in the embrace moment today. The years from college when I was 16 onwards have really been the driving forces that have influenced me and allowed me to learn and take on the world. I remind myself that I am not perfect and that I will and have made mistakes but they have made me so much better today! Keeping myself humble looking at the positive side is what I always try to do.
Remembering My Family!
The first people that always made sure that I felt loved were my family! My mum and dad have always wanted what is best for me and have always done whatever they can to help. The parallels I see in myself and my parents are uncanny, from my mums effection and passion, to my dads hardwork and determination, they have passed on incredible qualities. And if anyone deserves a mention interms of their influence it’s both of my brothers, who are a constant reminder that no matter what happens in my life or theirs, we will always have eachothers back!
Keeping friends close by!
I consider myself extremely fortunate to know a wide veriety of people that I can call my friends! It warms my heart to know that I aways have people to lean on if I ever need them, and vice versa. More importantly, in most times, it’s great to know I can create amazing moments and have the nicest distracion away from everything when I can talk with them. A special mention needs to go to my closest group of friends that mean more to me than the probably realise and it’s truely wonderful to have them by my side! I am forver greatful to them all.
Counting my Blessings!
What I do today wouldn’t be possible without my partner by my side. From the very moment that we met, dedication and care throughout everyday is an everlasting reminder how lucky I am. She has the ability to flip a day on it’s head with her humour and kindness which always makes me feel safe. She has always been my biggest advocate in everything that I do and pushes me to do what I think is right. This unwaving support never goes unnoticed and I am incredibly blessed to have her in my life and hope that I reciprocate it all back as she deserves it!
Chereshing my Hobbies!
My hobbies are what keep me refreshed and motivated and I make sure I don’t shy away from any of the things that I like or do! Some of my hobbies could be considered childish or immature, and that’s okay! In fact, that’s why embrace them even more! My hobbies have always refueled me as a person whever I need them and they are what drive me forward, being the light at the end of the tunnel. All of them imprint themselves on to me and create my identity which I love and without them I don’t know where I would be. So thank you to them!
Accepting Different Qualities!
This is meant to come across more modest than arrogant or cocky. In the past couple of years in particular I have noticed the qualities I bare and how they have their own upsides and downsides. Now as much as I cherish the good, my main focus is always to welcome what ever it is that bugs me as well. I am very much a culprit of getting in my own head or emotional in the smallest situations and that is just one of the many qualities I have but even though I could consider it “bad” I ensure that I never see it that way as that is just me and that is great!
Making up who I am!
Everything that is included on this page is what makes me and that is why it is included here. A lot of these parts are small pieces on their own but when put together they make the person I have been and will be for the rest of my life. The most important bit of all of this is that they are what strive me to do what I do and work with the people that are interested in including me on thier projects and that is amazing. I hope after reading this you get a better idea of the person I am and how it very much reflects in my all of my types of work and across my career.
